Download an addon called “TourGuide”. It’s a step by step in-game guide from 1-70+. You can also use questing mods such as Carbonite and Questhelper with TourGuide, it will automatically sync up with them and plot your destinations.
Edit:
TourGuide is lesser known but it’s amazing. It’s literally take these quests, do them in this order, walk here, buy this, set your hearth, fly here, turn in this quest… It’s completely fool proof and there’s a scary amount of logic to the order of the quests.
I love it, I’ve used it on my last 4 characters and have leveled to 80 in as little as 3 weeks. Just yesterday I went from 58-64 on my paladin using the add-on (now using blizzard’s quest UI though, less addon chatter in raids) and still had time to watch some TV and grab some drinks later last night.
Have an azn do it for you.
Never herd it before, most people do not use guides to be honest.
Download the AddOn called Questhelper, do quest how you want and where you want questhelper will tell you where to go and what to do.
This is the quickest way.

At this point, doing RAF or gearing your toon with heirlooms (assuming you already have an 80) and grinding dungeons with the random tool is faster than anything else.
I’m going to go with Flavor Vortex on this. Questing is, by far, the fastest way to level in WoW. I’ve never heard of Tour Guide but, it sounds pretty bad ass, if you don’t know where to go to quest. I just stick to the closest place that is near my level. For instance, if I’m around level 40, I quest in Feralas and Tanaris till around 50 and move to Eastern Plague lands. At level 70, I do all the quests in Howling Fjord and then Borean Tundra and move on to Dragonblight. However, I do skip some areas and go where I know I can get the fastest experience. Between Carbonite and Questhelper, I prefer carbonite because it has other features like being able to move your minimap buttons off of your minimap. If you have a bunch and they overlap, this is a great feature. Otherwise, I know others who like Questhelper, as well.
Quest Helper and Cartographer is all you need. How long you take to level is going to depend on class, spec and gear.
